How Starbucks Baristas Customize Iced Tea

Today (June 10) is National Iced Tea Day and the perfect time to try a new variety of iced tea or an existing favorite with a special twist. Starbucks baristas share tips for customizing iced tea to celebrate the day.

To begin, choose a Black, Green or Passion Tango™ iced tea. Each iced tea is handcrafted and shaken 10 times to bring out the taste in every cup. Teavana® Shaken Green, Teavana® Passion Tango and Teavana® Shaken Black teas may be ordered sweetened or unsweetened for a refreshing zero-calorie beverage.

Pump it Up

Add a pump or two of different flavored syrup to enhance an existing favorite. Try an Iced Green Tea Latte with vanilla or peppermint flavored syrup, Teavana® Shaken Black Tea Lemonade with peach or raspberry flavored syrup instead of classic syrup or Teavana® Green Tea Lemonade with mango flavored syrup.

Hold the H2O

Substitute water with juice or a Starbucks Refreshers™ beverage for a juicy, thirst-quenching drink with just the right amount of tartness. Try Passion Tango™ Tea with apple juice and raspberry flavored syrup, a Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers™ beverage combined with Passion Tango™ Tea or Green tea with a Very Berry Hibiscus Starbucks Refreshers beverage.

Make a Splash

Top off any iced tea beverage with cream or lemonade for a subtle burst of flavor. Try Black tea with vanilla flavored syrup and a splash of cream and iced unsweetened Green tea with a splash of Passion Tango ™ Tea or lemonade.

Visit a Starbucks or Teavana store in the U.S. to experience one of these iced tea beverages as well as these special deals in honor of National Iced Tea Day.
