Fact Sheet: How to Pay at Starbucks

No matter how customers choose to pay at Starbucks, the goal is to deliver a seamless payment experience. By accepting a variety of payment methods, Starbucks allows customers to select the option most convenient and relevant to them. Accepted payment methods at Starbucks include:

Starbucks Cards: Available in stores, online or as a Starbucks eGift Card, Starbucks Cards are available in a variety of designs and can be loaded with $5-$500.

Starbucks® Mobile Apps: For customers looking for the fastest way to pay, the Starbucks Mobile app for iOS or Android™ provides the convenience of  mobile payment at the register and through Mobile Order & Pay, at participating stores, while still earning Stars through the Starbucks Rewards™ loyalty program.

Chase Pay®: Customers can use Chase Pay to reload their Starbucks Card through the Starbucks® Mobile app for iOS or online at Starbucks.com/card. In addition, customers can use the Chase Pay® Mobile App as payment at participating Starbucks® locations.

Apple Pay®: Customers can use Apple Pay to reload their Starbucks Card through the Starbucks® Mobile app for iOS. In addition, Starbucks is rolling-out Apple Pay in the U.S., with plans to roll out the service nationally in 2016.

PayPal™: Customers can use PayPal™ to reload their Starbucks Card through the mobile app or at Starbucks.com/card. PayPal™ can also be used to make purchases at store.starbucks.com.

Visa Checkout: Visa Checkout is available as an option for customers to reload their Starbucks Card either through the mobile app or at Starbucks.com/card, send an eGiftCard and make purchases at store.starbucks.com.

Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Credit Cards are accepted in-store, and online.

Cash is always an option too.
