Bernard Acoca is president of Teavana, Starbucks premium tea brand. As the leader of Teavana, Bernard is responsible for the management of the Teavana specialty retail and e-commerce channels, expanding the portfolio of Teavana offerings in Starbucks stores, creating global awareness for the Teavana brand, and driving tea innovation.
In his previous roles with Starbucks, Bernard led marketing and category management for the U.S. and Americas region, the company’s largest business segment, where he drove profitable sales growth through new product development, national promotions, brand communications, and integrated go-to-market strategies.
Prior to his current role leading Teavana, Bernard was Chief Marketing Officer for the Americas for L’Oreal. His background also includes 10 years at Yum! Brands in variety of marketing leadership roles.
Bernard earned his B.A. from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
