JAVA CHIP SEMIFREDDO

Freeze Time: 4 hours

Semifreddo, or “half-cold,” is a chilled dessert

that blends ice cream with whipped cream. Starbucks® ice cream reinvents this Italian classic in a sophisticated way; a perfect complement to your holiday entertaining.

Ingredients:

3 cups Starbucks® Java Chip Frappucino® Ice Cream, softened
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 – ½ cups heavy or whipping cream
Chocolate Sauce

Instructions:

Line 9x5-inch loaf pan with plastic wrap.
Stir Starbucks® Java Chip Frappucino® ice cream in bowl with electric mixer just until stirrable. Stir in lemon zest. Fold in 1 cup whipped cream, then fold in remaining whipped cream.
Gently press mixture into prepared pan. Cover and freeze 4 hours or overnight.
Cut into 1-inch slices and serve drizzled with chocolate sauce.
